Metro Manila recorded it's hottest temperature this year at 36.4 degrees Celsius on Friday.
Cabanatuan had registered 38.1 degrees last Wednesday. Ouch.

Metro Manila continued to bake under the summer heat, experiencing its hottest temperature so far this year at 36.4 degrees Celsius. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said it recorded this temperature at the Science Garden in Quezon City at 3 p.m. "Ngayong 3 p.m. nakatala tayo [ng] 36.4, yan ang pinakamainit ngayong taon," PAGASA forecaster Gener Quitlong said in an interview on dzBB radio Friday. On Tuesday and Wednesday this week, PAGASA had recorded a previous high of 36.2 degrees in Metro Manila.
